£200 needed for gas and electricity bills and food
A is a single mum who is very poorly at the moment and is unable to work, due to her body shaking and convulsing on a regular basis. She is struggling financially to afford her bills and buy food, as she is not working and bringing in an income. A is on a zero hours contract and if she doesn't work, she doesn't earn money. She is in the process of claiming benefits to help her through this difficult time. A needs financial support to help her top-up her gas and electric meters, and buy food.
£150 needed for a wardrobe
A is an asylum seeker who has just been granted leave to remain. This means that she immediately has to leave her temporary accommodation and find a property of her own. A will be in receipt of Universal Credit and Housing Benefits, but hasn't been able to claim until now and has no savings or possessions. We have managed to get her a bed and mattress, but she has very little else. A wardrobe would mean A could look after and protect her limited clothing, and keep her small flat tidy.

They would like to start batch cooking and also prepare some meals to assist with weaning their twins. £200 needed for a cooker
Our client became homeless after his marriage broke down over ten years ago. For a long time he was sofa surfing and then became street homeless. Eventually, he was picked up by Street Link and stayed in a night shelter for about four months. After this, he was moved to supported housing and has finally been housed by a local housing association. Our client is in receipt of Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment, but is unable to buy a cooker for his place. He would be most grateful for your help.
